OUR PROGRAMS
Each child’s learning and developmental needs are as unique as they are. At CO Sunshine Adventure, we offer multiple educational opportunities. We take pride in our work and our kids. We love to see them grow! Our structured day is designed to inspire imagination, spark curiosity, and encourage discovery through daily lessons and play.

Each program is individualized, age-appropriate, and designed to prepare your child not only for kindergarten, but for their entire educational career. We provide engaging classroom activities that spark a love of learning and exploration in your child.
Early Preschool
Ages 2 years - 3 years
Early preschoolers explore the world around them. Routine and structure are important for this age and help them to feel successful and confident in their day.

Our day and program is designed to provide a learning environment for your child that will allow them to explore, play, and socially interact with others. Our space is set up with learning centers, manipulatives, reading, and writing areas.

Preschool
Ages 3 years - 4 years
Preschoolers are adventurous and curious about their surroundings! Each day is thoroughly planned out with a variety of hands-on activities, character education lessons, and social focuses to encourage learning and socialization.

Students will begin to be introduced to concepts like opposites, identifying emotions, basic directional skills, and independence.

Pre-K
Ages 4 years - 5 years
Our pre-kindergarten program focuses on kindergarten readiness. Your child’s teacher will work with you and your child to ensure they are socially, emotionally, cognitively, and behaviorally prepared for the kindergarten classroom. We do daily, hands on activities teaching pre-reading and pre-math skills.

Our teacher uses kindergarten benchmarks. Monthly assessments will take place to ensure your child starts kindergarten with a confidence.

OUR CURRICULUM
At CO Sunshine Adventure, we use a combination of accredited preschool curriculum, as well as original material created by the teacher.
CO Sunshine Adventure uses Eazy Breezy Preschool curriculum and Frog Street Press to help guide lessons and concepts.
Each month we create original projects that reflect the monthly themes. We provide related activities to support the individual concepts of the “whole child.”
OUR ENROLLMENT PROCESS

Enrollment into CO Sunshine Adventure is based on a mutual agreement that our school is a good fit for both the child, and the program.
During the enrollment process, we require families to complete an application prior to scheduling an interview. We then invite families to an onsite tour where we meet and learn about your family, discuss expectations, and long-term developmental needs and goals for your child.

Depending on availability, age, and expectations lining up, a spot may be offered to the child, or the child will be added to our waitlist.
